Really helpful app

I love the idea of IF. I just dont think I could use it where Id need to rely on it yet. It seems to choose to work when it wants to.

I wish it allow more complex structure. I think this have lots of potentials, but i hope the designers consider improving it to allow more complex if then or and else. Also, i noticed sometimes some items works in it is own, i just can not confirm if it was hacked using this IFTTT. Also some rules does not work all the times.

If is a great program if you take some time to learn how it works and how powerful it can be. Im a new user but its already saved me tons of time and effort.

Hooked up my wemo light switch and used IFTTT for sunset on and a unique time off. So easy and worked on first attempt, I like it !

Ive been using this application with Philips Hue, its great. I have been able to add functionalities that Philips wasnt offering such as turn off the lights at midnight or turn on the lights when its dark outside.

I have IFTTT set so that when I enter or exit an area it triggers my lights to come on or off at my house. I have gone away and come back many times and so far it has only triggered one time. Im going to check out a few settings but Im sure that I will be deleting the app as my lighting is the reason I got the app to start with

I have written several recipes to control our NEST thermostat and sometimes they work, but mostly they dont. The channel between NEST and IFTTT constantly fails and no one knows why. IFTTT support blames NEST and of course NEST support blames IFTTT. When you Email either support group it can take 3 to 4 days to get an answer especially from IFTTT support and they dont offer a phone number; they dont want to talk to us. So you wait and wait and nothing works in the meantime. Go ahead and use it if you want to bang your head on your desk.

Set up 10 recipes the first day to various channels. Seems to work well. Looking forward to exploring more.

My current use is for education. Getting notifications on my phone when students submit work keep me on top of who has completed work.

I use this for emailing myself blogs and creating journal entries from a template in Evernote. Very handy!

Great but basic app. For example, when I come home, IFTTT runs WEMO app to turn on lights. One more level of logic is needed to only turn them on if dark.

Love it, thank you. Right now I use this app to track how many hours I am at work. So much more potential. Seems like a must if you have a smart home.

Clean design, fast, so many options... Legit Im usually quite critical with reviews but this app is really good.
